Blade

An MCP plugin authored and maintained by Groupthink Dev. and shipped as fully opensource code. Blades expose capability — local-corpus readers (mail, notes, calendar, reminders) or external API service integrations — as tools that skills running inside packs can call.

Distinct from a general plugin: the term blade is reserved for the Groupthink-Dev-authored, opensource subset. Community MCP plugins also expose tools but sit outside the blade authorship perimeter.

Packs declare which service contracts and which plugins they depend on; plugin code (blade or community) is never pack-authored.
