Fabric
The Stallari fabric is the across-device substrate that lets one user’s instance span their own Apple devices — multiple Macs, an iPhone, an Apple TV — as one platform. Each device runs Stallari locally; the fabric is the peer-to-peer mesh that coordinates them.
The fabric is bounded by one identity’s reach. Scheduled jobs deduplicate across the user’s devices, capabilities on one Mac are invokable from another, and a presence signal surfaces so routing prefers the right device. There is no vendor relay; bearer tokens authenticate the user’s devices to each other.
The fabric is distinct from federation. Federation joins one user’s fabric to another’s (families, organisations, guilds). See Cross-machine for the full substrate picture.
